Questions about your data?

Use this form or email us directly — put 'Privacy' in Select service and we'll route it to whoever can actually action it.

No phone tag. No sales sequence. One reply from one person.

Fields marked * are required and checked before sending. We never sell or share your details.

Who we are

Repallet Shop LLC, 9869 Meeks Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132. Enquiries about this policy go to sales@repalletshop.com. We do not operate a telephone line, so written contact is the only route — and the fastest one.

What we collect

Only the fields you complete in an enquiry or quote form on this site: first and last name, email address, telephone number, company, city, state, postal code, the product type and service you select, quantity, grade, your message, and the page address the form was submitted from.

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or third-party trackers, and this site sets no cookies of its own. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing switched on.

Why we collect it

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote — our legitimate business interest in responding to you.
  • To arrange a collection, delivery or visit you have asked for.
  • To keep a commercial record of quotes issued, as required for accounting purposes.

We do not add enquiry addresses to a marketing list, and we do not send newsletters or automated sequences.

Who processes it

Form submissions are transmitted over TLS to our lead-capture processor, which stores them on our behalf so that the yard team can read and respond to them. Our hosting provider processes request logs in the ordinary course of serving this site. Both act on our instructions under contract, and neither is permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We never sell, rent or share enquiry data with advertisers, data brokers or other third parties.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after twenty-four months. Records relating to an actual transaction are kept for seven years, because tax and commercial law requires it. Deletion requests are actioned within thirty days except where we are legally obliged to retain a transaction record.

Your choices

  • Access — ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
  • Correction — tell us if something is wrong and we will fix it.
  • Deletion — ask us to erase your enquiry data.
  • Objection — ask us to stop processing it, subject to legal retention.

Write to sales@repalletshop.com with “Privacy” in the subject line, or use the form on this page. We will not ask you to prove anything unreasonable before acting.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS with a strict content-security policy, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. Credentials for our lead-capture processor are held as server-side environment variables and are never exposed to the browser. No payment-card data is processed through this website at all.

Children

This is a business-to-business pallet yard. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen, and we have no services directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. We do not maintain a mailing list, so there is nothing to notify — checking this page is the reliable route.

In plain words

We are a pallet yard, not a data business

Everything above exists because the law requires it to be written down. The operative sentence is that we use your details to answer you and for nothing else.

If anything on this page is unclear, say so through the contact page and we will rewrite it.

Yard reference

Every number we publish, in one place

The same appendix appears at the foot of our reference pages so you never have to leave an article to check a figure. All of it is revised annually and matches the constants used by the Carbon Ledger.

Species in our intake, and how they behave

Densities and Janka figures are published wood-science values; the behaviour column is sixteen years of our own grading notes. Our intake is oak-dominant mixed hardwood.
SpeciesGroupDensity (lb/ft³)Janka hardnessBehaviour in a pallet
White oakHardwood471,350 lbfOur backbone: holds fasteners superbly, heavy, very durable
Red oakHardwood441,290 lbfSlightly more porous than white; excellent deck boards
HickoryHardwood511,820 lbfHardest of our intake; superb stringers, splits if nailed dry
MapleHardwood441,450 lbfClean, pale, dimensionally stable; good for upcycled tops
AshHardwood411,320 lbfTough and flexible; forgiving under impact
PoplarHardwood29540 lbfLight hardwood, weaker fastener grip, fine for one-way
Southern yellow pineSoftwood35690 lbfCommon in new softwood builds; resinous, holds nails well
Spruce / firSoftwood27510 lbfLightest option; loosens soonest under repeated handling

Moisture targets by application

Dryness is the single biggest determinant of recycled pallet quality — more than grade, species or board count.
ApplicationTarget moistureWhy
Food distribution≤ 19%Mould risk, not strength; covered storage mandatory
Pharmaceutical / clean areas≤ 15%Documented dryness, often new material
General warehouse and racking≤ 19%Fastener grip and creep resistance
Cold chain≤ 15% at dispatchCondensation cycling through the dew point
Export, heat-treated≤ 19%Post-chamber typical; bark-free is the hard rule
Upcycled furniture stock8–12%Conditioned indoors two weeks before machining
Field and agricultural useNo targetWeather governs; buy #2 and expect it

Fasteners — two percent of the cost, most of the service life

Specify the fastener and the count per board-stringer intersection, not just the board count.

Standards that actually govern a pallet

Only ISPM-15 is legally mandatory, and only for export. Everything else is a specification you can choose to be held to.

Handling and rack dimensions

Measure your own equipment before specifying a pallet. These are the values that decide whether a footprint works in your building.
DimensionTypical valueNote
Fork length42"–48"Must not protrude beyond the far side of a 48" pallet
Fork width4"–6"Wider forks spread load across deck boards
Fork thickness1½"–2"Determines minimum pallet entry height
Fork spread, GMA entry24"–27" centresBetween the stringers of a three-stringer pallet

Minimum entry height3½"A crushed bottom deck blocks the forks entirely
Rack beam span, two pallets≥ 96" clearFor two 48×40 pallets, 40" face out
Flue space, back to back≥ 6"Most fire codes; check your jurisdiction
